Since the inception, WTE-Tech B.V. has been continuously improving the technology and application areas. Established by seasoned entrepreneurs with a multi-disciplinary background, WTE-Tech B.V. proofs to be a sound solution provider and innovative technology company.
WTE-Tech cooperates with highly valued partners and specialists in their respective area. Hofung Engineering Ltd as co-development and EPC company with a solid track-record in the oil & gas and chemical industry.

Hofung is co-developer of and exclusive licensing, engineering and contracting party for WTE’s Flameless Combustion technology in China.

Michiel Molenaar is a Dutch national who lived and worked most of his life abroad. After becoming a mechanical engineer from Delft University Michiel joined the Royal Netherlands Navy as part of his national service requirements. During his career Michiel lived together with his family in 8 different locations (U.K. London & Aberdeen; U.S.A. New-Orleans; Netherlands Groningen; Malaysia Miri; Singapore; Kazakhstan Atyrau; and Qatar). Michiel is now living in The Hague heading-up WTE-Tech.

Xander Tiedemann is a Swiss national, but lived most of his life in the Netherlands. After having worked for almost 6 years for ABN Bank he founded Hofung with a friend in 1991. Hofung was one of the first foreign companies in China. In 1995 Xander moved with his family to Beijing and lived there for almost 11 years. During these years, but also after he returned to the Netherlands he was (co)founder of several other companies focussed on China, mainly in introducing advanced (green) technologies from the West.

A Dutch national (1947). Chairman of the Supervisory Boards of Koninklijke Philips Electronics N.V., Royal Boskalis Westminster N.V. and Technical University of Delft. He is a Board member of Equinor ASA (Norway). He is the Chairman of the Chairpersons Community of the WEF (World Economic Forum )

Jeroen was Non-executive Director of Royal Dutch Shell 2009 -2013. Previously, he was CEO of Shell since 2004. Before that he was President of Royal Dutch Petroleum Company sine 2000, having been a Managing Director since 1997. As CEO Jeroen led Shell through major change.

In 2009-2010 Jeroen was Vice-Chairman of a Group of Experts who advised for a new Strategic Concept for NATO. He was World President of the Society of Chemical Industry from 2002 to 2004. From 2000-2004 he served as a supervisory board member of The Dutch Central Bank. He is Advisor to Oman since 2009. He chairs ‘Platform Beta Techniek’, a governmental institute promoting education in science and technology from 2009.

He was Vice-Chairman and Senior Independent Director of Unilever to May 2011. He was on the Supervisory Board of ING from 2009 and Chairman of ING 2011-2019. In October 2012 he became Chairman of the Rotterdam Climate Initiative. Jeroen is a Honorary Citizen of Singapore.

Jeroen also has and various roles in several foundations and charities.

A Dutch National(1947) Graduate of Delft Technical University. Chairman of the Supervisory Boards of Royal Smilde,Well Engineering Partners and Black Bear Carbon. Board member of van leeuwen Pipe and Tube Group and Teijin Aramid.

Koos worked for Philips from 1974-1998 of which the last 13 years in Asia. He was MD Consumer Electronics Asia Pacific from 1994 onwards. In 1998 he joined the van Leeuwen Pipe and Tube Group and was president and CEO from 2000 till 2007.

He was Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Royal Ahrend from 2007-2018 and of Nedcard BV from 2009-2016.

Koos acts as advisor to a number of companies and organisations.

Entrepreneur, Chemist and Chemical Engineer with professional background in Process technology and Catalysis, Refinery Technology and Refinery Management.

Holds a master degree in chemistry (Radboud University, Nijmegen), Process Technology (Technical University Twente) and a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry and Catalysis (Technical University Eindhoven).

Worked 27 years for Royal Dutch Shell: 10 years R&D in Shell Research in Amsterdam, 12 years in Shell Down Stream Manufacturing in The Netherlands in technology development and support (a.o. Pernis refinery) and various international assignments in Refinery management (India, Germany), 5 years in refinery margin optimization worldwide, specifically responsible for refinery optimization projects in Serbia (National oil company NIS), Middle East and South Africa and  the development and market introduction (Supply & Distribution) of premium fuels Europe wide.

As from 2010 active in various start-up businesses in energy efficiency in process industry and waste heat utilization for urban areas. Currently active as General Manager for RNS Technologies BV (CUI abatement and energy efficiency) and CEO for WTE-Tech BV (waste gas treatment and utilization).

Wang started as a process engineer, and later became managing director of Hofung Technologies, a Chinese engineering company in the Oil & Gas industry.

WTE-Tech, with its partners, aims to generate customer value by identifying possibilities for emission reduction beyond regulatory guidelines and effective conversion of waste gas into heat, steam and power.
